The Independent Schools Portal have teamed up with Kampus24 to launch a series of CPD webinars for school marketing and admissions professionals in the sector.
Pupil recruitment to the sector remains challenging with the rise in the cost of living and international uncertainty is high from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. The new webinar series aims to bolster the confidence of school marketing and admissions professionals and share best practice insight into the sector to inspire their admissions activities. Held every half-term online, these free webinars will cover different key topics for the sector including SEO, social media marketing and stakeholder management.
Steve Spriggs, managing director of Kampus24 said: “The role of school marketing and admissions within independent education has changed unequivocally in the past ten years. Today’s parents want stellar customer service, personalisation and access to information as and when they need it. The digitalisation of every day life also means the way in which parents are reached has changed beyond recognition. Today’s marketeers need to be specialists in SEO, social media, customer service – the list goes on.
This webinar series will enable professionals to get regular bitesize CPD from the comfort of their own desk throughout the year, rather than just in conference season. The mix of speakers from those already working in the sector, to those who specialise in a specific field of marketing, will be invaluable. We know that schools face tough times and hope these free webinars will help and support sector professionals.”
The first school marketing webinar will take place online on Wednesday 21st September with guest speaker, Lucy Barnwell, presenting on “Marketing to Millennial Parents”.
