Michelle Scott is the founding principal of Downe House school Muscat, Oman. Michelle began her career in Australia as an English and Drama teacher before moving to the UK in 1997 to join Downe House as a specialist drama teacher. Over her 23 year career there, she was director of drama, director of external relations, assistant headmistress (Foundation) and most recently, feputy deadmistress.
In January 2021, she took up the post of founding principal of Downe House Muscat. In this episode, Michelle gives an honest and insightful account of her move to Oman, outlining the challenges and opportunities involved in such a trail blazing international educational project.
