Eaton Square Senior School and Eaton Square Sixth Form are to change their names, becoming London Park School Mayfair (LPS Mayfair) and London Park School Sixth (LPS Sixth).
The change, which will reflect the fact the schools are now part of the London Park Schools group, will take effect from September 2024.
The transition to LPS Mayfair and LPS Sixth includes the name change and a phased introduction of a new uniform.
Dr Adrian Rainbow, head of Eaton Square Senior School and Eaton Square Sixth Form, said:
“We’re excited about this transformation as it underlines our commitment to providing the highest standards of education while offering additional resources and expertise. London Park School Mayfair and Sixth will continue to focus on student well-being, academic excellence, and a broad base of skills, just as Eaton Square Senior and Sixth already do.”
Suzie Longstaff, principal of London Park Schools, added: “We aim to nurture thoughtful, articulate, and globally aware individuals, and this exciting transition is a testament to our unwavering dedication to empowering students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.”
London Park Schools consists of three London schools including what will be known as LPS Mayfair, LPS Sixth and LPS Clapham, south of the river.
The group says the schools “combine the care and support of a smaller setting with the opportunities and facilities of a larger one”.
They are owned by Dukes’ Education, a group of over 50 nurseries, schools and colleges across the UK and Europe.
