Russell Speirs meets Johan Jensen, the founder of consultancy All-in Education, an organisation dedicated to helping schools become more inclusive and diverse places to work and learn.
Johan talks about what inspired him to set up the organisation, recalling his school days when he first set up a “surgery” for children who felt socially excluded, and his work in the business sector.
Russell and Johan discuss the on-the-ground practicalities of improving diversity and inclusion in schools and how leaders need to be prepared to admit what they don’t know or understand.
Importantly, Johan gives some interesting top tips for school leaders, and points them towards some essential reading.
