Colin Bell, CEO of the Council of British International Schools, joins Helen Wright to discuss everything from how international schools have been coping in the pandemic to the benefits of a teaching qualification for working internationally.
He tells Helen that schools have been coping in much the same way as they have back in the UK, showing huge resilience in the face of challenges.
Colin Bell also outlines COBIS’s own accreditation and compliance scheme which has been expertly adapted after extensive travel restrictions have been in place.
Bell also talks about the reputation of British education in the world and the dangers of any complacency over its high status.
