This time around, Sophie Clark meets Rachell Fox, director of communications, marketing and development at Channing School, an independent girls’ school in North London and member of AMCIS.
Rachell discusses her role which looks to build relationships with customers from before their child has even arrived at the school through to alumni relations. She talks about how her work in commercial radio at BBC2, charity roles and consultancy work have given her the transferable skills to communicate effectively and make a success of school marketing.
Rachell tells us about why embracing podcasts is key to reach your target demographic and why marketing is a strategic function that can add value to the school senior leadership team.
