Big brands dominate the prestigious awards which accompany the publication of the magazine’s guide to top schools
A wave of excitement swept through the independent schools world as society magazine Tatler published the nominations for its annual schools awards.
Five schools are in line to potentially receive the coveted Public School of the Year Award, including Stonyhurst, Sherborne Girls, Marlborough College, Reigate Grammar School and Oakham School.
Under consideration for Best Head of a Public School were Mark Turnbull at Giggleswick School, Douglas Robb at Gresham’s, Emma McKendrick at Downe House, Antony Wallersteiner at Stowe School and Jane Lunnon at Wimbledon High/Alleyn’s School.
Every year, the Tatler Schools Guide reveals its favourite selection of schools based on trips, interviews and other research.
The Tatler Schools Awards decide which schools come out on top, with winners selected by panel.
This year the awards ceremony will be hosted virtually on the Tatler Schools Instagram channel on Tuesday, October 6 at 6pm.
