Role specification

The person appointed will join the Education Committee and play a key strategic role on the Board, helping to guide the School as it continues to deliver an outstanding education to its pupils.

The new Governor will work with the Governing Body and executive team to help guide the School’s educational strategy, policy and initiatives, and evaluate performance in line with its strategic objectives. They will use their expertise to provide guidance, support and challenge to the executive team and Board, especially in relation to standards of teaching and learning, pastoral care and wellbeing, and extra-curricular provision for pupils. A particular interest in and experience of the use of technology and broader innovation in education would be desirable.
